Just a few quick notes as we prepare to celebrate the nations birthday...

What's new at Moms and Bums May 2010
The air is fresh and the grass is green and the sun's shine is no longer reflecting off of snow. Birds are nesting, bee's are beginning the search for pollen and we at Moms and Bums are preparing for the Mom to Mom Brampton Spring Sale; the premier destination for gently used items for babies, children and expectant moms. Since the sales beginning in 2008, the Mom 2 Mom Sales popularity has exploded for buyers and vendors alike. Parents, kids and grandparents can find toys, clothing, shoes, large items like strollers, bouncers and even outdoor play sets, all for garage sale prices! As a bonus, the sale benefits the Peel Children's Safety Village. So come out, and come early to save your family money, spend time out together and benefit children in the community. Don't forget to stop by the Moms and Bums booth to say hello! If you are planning to attend and there is something particular you are hoping to pick up from us at the sale, please take a minute and shoot us an email. We have limited space at the sale and will not be bringing our entire stock, so make sure you wont be disappointed.
Restocked and New stock
Baby Kangas new colors should be arriving early this week!
Happy Heiny's One size diapers and pocket trainers have been restocked, and we have brought in their new one size covers, organic one size pockets and doll diapers!
Matter Company's substance nipple cream and baby safe sunscreen have also been added to our stock, and just in time for summer we have brought in their In The Bush Bug Dope

Moms and Bums has expanded and we need a new name!
As most of you know Moms and Bums also owns Natural Parenting Shop. We have also recently purchased Baby's Bottom Line. Baby's Bottom Line is a 7 year old cloth diaper and natural parenting store which was originally based out of Seatle, Washington. With 5 children and the last one leaving cloth diapers, Susie the previous owner has decided the time has come to spend more time doing other things with her children. Our stock from Baby's Bottom Line arrived this past weekend and we are slowly sorting through it and getting it ready to bring to the Mom to Mom sale. Amoung that stock you can expect to see some Bump Huggers Maternity Belts, Imse Vimse covers and Imse Vimse Training Pants.
Now that we have 3 websites, it is time to find a unique name that will incorporate all 3 cloth diaper and natural parenting shops! What a great opportunity to have a contest! The person who submits the name we choose will win a $20 gift certificate to be used at one of our shops (your choice of which one). We will also give you another $20 gift certificate if you come up with a catchy slogan we love to go with your name submission.

We have recently upgraded our shopping cart and we are just putting up the finishing touches. Unfortunately some of the files were not able to be transfered to the upgraded cart and we are slowly manually adding them. Amoung these was the "Users" files, so if you have tried to log on in the past couple of days you will have noticed that you were no longer a member. We are working to correct this and are re-adding all of the memberships by hand- with 350+ members it is taking us a while! As your membership fiole is redone you should receive an email with a new password- you will need to change this password on your first login.
We are also slowly working at repairing some broken links, and redoing logos, banners and info pages. Should you find any broken links or missing pages during your shopping please let us know.
Earth Week is quickly approaching! As a special bonus for earth week we will be featuring a new product each day that will be drastically reduced in price. You will need to tune into our facebook group and blog for the inside scoop!
We will also be doing a few giveaways over the next few weeks leading up to the upcoming Mom to Mom sale on May 15th. Please note that in order to avoid any oversales in products we will be closing the online store on May 15th while we are away at the Mom to Mom sale- it should be back up and running by 3pm.
